Miss Amanda Gomez

Miss Gomez is a graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand. She recently graduated with her BA Honours in English Education, following her undergraduate BEd Degree.

Miss Gomez currently teaches a range of subjects that include Grade 4 English, Grade 4 Mathematics, Grade 4, 5 and 6 Religious Education and Grade 6 and 7 Technology. She has always wanted to be a teacher as her passion lies in learning and teaching, and she wishes to make a difference in her pupils’ lives no matter how big or small it may be.

Miss Gomez loves all things Disney and one of her favourite quotes comes from Walt Disney himself, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” She loves thinking creatively and is always up to a new challenge and improving herself. In her spare time, she loves to read and colour-in. 

The teaching and learning environment makes Miss Gomez really happy and she is glad to have realised her passion at a young age. She lives and strives for what Harry Potter says, “Working hard is important, but there is something that matters even more: BELIEVING IN YOURSELF.” She hopes to one day have her pupils realise the importance of believing in themselves.
