
About Mrs Sabrina Murray
Mrs Murray is committed to success in the classroom and in life. A 2011 graduate of the University of Pretoria, she has a B.Ed (FET) General degree with majors in Mathematics, English and Computer Applications Technology. She has been part of the St Catherine’s Senior School team since 2013.
Mrs Murray currently teaches Mathematics to Grade 10, and Mathematical Literacy to Grade 11 and 12. She is part of the team that co-ordinated the Maths curriculum for the Senior School and is an IEB Regional Moderator for Mathematical Literacy.
Mrs Murray has always been involved in the co-curricular life of St Catherine’s. In her first year she established girls’ soccer at the school and entered the team into an official league. She has also coached netball and found success in both sports. Mrs Murray is also involved with the Mr & Miss St Catherine’s Pageant, as well as organizing the Matric Dance and school socials. In 2018 she started a Zumba club, sharing her love for dance with the senior school pupils.
Mrs Murray is a passionate, pupil-centered teacher who continually seeks to improve learning as well as the school culture at St Catherine’s School.
