Mrs Killian received a B.Ed Honours degree from the University of Pretoria. She has many years of teaching experience and joined our school in May 2015. Mrs Killian is currently teaching Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 and has a passion for Geography and is an avid lover of sports. She loves to watch and read about topics related to Geography and our wonderful world to keep her pupils up to date. As a teacher she wants to see how her pupils can identify Geography in everyday life. Apart from her teaching role, Mrs Killian is the Grade 12 Head and is involved in coaching netball.

Mrs Killian’s favourite quote is “Fall Down 7 times get up 8” from a book written by Naoki Higashida. An interesting fact that not many people know about her is that she has provincial colours in five sport codes! She has represented South Africa in athletics and was once ranked number 17 in the world for shot-put. She is also a motorcycle enthusiast. People with ambition, who live life to the fullest, inspire her.
