Summer Uniform

• White short-sleeved St Catherine’s shirt with black badge on the pocket
• Short grey trousers for Grade 1-6 boys , long grey trousers for Grade 7 boys (optional)
• Sleeveless pull-over may be worn
• Black lace-up boys’ shoes
• Long grey calf-length socks
• Black school sun hat with white badge on the front
• St Catherine’s black with white striped blazar with school badge on the pocket
• School jersey may be worn on cold days, if worn with a blazer.
• Black raincoat only allowed during rainy days.

• Black pinafore with white school badge on the left of the dress, or black pants
• Long-sleeved plain white shirt with collar for tie
• Black tie with white stripes
• Black girls’ shoes
• Long black calf-length socks with white stripes or thick black stockings (not sheer). Socks may NOT be worn over stockings.
• St Catherine’s black with white striped blazer with school badge on the pocket
• Black school sun hat with white badge on the front must be worn on sunny days

Sports clothes to be worn during Physical Education classes and for extra murals, unless otherwise stipulated.

• St Catherine’s sky-blue V-neck sports t-shirt with black trim and black badge on the left
• St Catherine’s black shorts with sky-blue pinstripe and school badge on the left front
• Short white ankle-length socks
• Any kind of sports trainers (majority white), excluding canvas type shoes
• Girls: Black, white or blue hair accessories only
• St Catherine’s black and sky-blue tracksuit with pinstripe down the pants and school badge on the top of the left leg
• A school sports t-shirt in the house colours (green, red, yellow) will be worn when inter-house sports take place
• Girls: Black speedo-style costume or black full sun costume with short sleeves and length of shorts, with school badge for swimming
• Boys: Black speedo-style costume or black cycling short costume or black full sun costume with short sleeves and length of shorts, with school badge for swimming
• Swimming caps: Sports house caps (green, red, yellow) with school badge on the side
• Sky-blue swimming cap with school badge on the side for school team swimmers
• Black or navy slip slops
• Grade 1-3 children may wear the school poncho towel
• Girls who have been chosen for the netball team will purchase a black skirt with sky-blue trim and the school badge on the left front. Plain black hotpants must be worn under the skirt
• Boys who are chosen for soccer will purchase black soccer socks with white stripes
• Boys who are chosen for cricket will purchase white cricket socks

Cold Weather Additions

• During winter a long, plain black skin may be worn.
• No long-sleeved vests are allowed to be worn under short-sleeved sports t-shirts.
• The school jersey may be worn on cold days under the school tracksuit top
• Black raincoat only allowed on rainy days
• No beanies allowed at all

Pupils are ambassadors of St Catherine’s School and are expected to look neat so that they can represent the school with pride. All clothing must be the appropriate size and in good condition.

Summer uniform must be worn during Term One and Term Three and winter uniform must be worn during Term Two.

Blazer

Official striped school blazer.

Blazers are compulsory during Term Two and for all formal functions eg Assemblies, Masses, Awards Ceremonies, etc.

Blazers are compulsory for members of the Executive throughout the year.

Blazers may be taken off during class but must be worn or carried over the arm and not over the shoulder when outside of the classroom.
Blazers must be worn over long-sleeved jerseys or shirts.

Jersey

Grade 8 to 11 pupils are to wear a black jersey or sleeveless pullover with white stripes, as supplied by stockists.

Long-sleeved jerseys may not be worn without a blazer.

Shoes

Standard black school shoes with laces or buckles. Shoes may not cover the ankles.

Scarves and gloves

Black school scarf with white stripes and plain black gloves may only be worn in winter.

Beanies

Beanies may not be worn with the school uniform.

Raincoat

Black raincoat or drimac are only allowed on rainy days.

House shirt

The official house T-shirt (green, red or yellow) depending on which house the pupil has been allocated to.

School tracksuit

St Catherine’s black and sky-blue tracksuit with pinstripe down the pants and school badge on the left of the top.

• Black belt with a SMALL buckle.
• A sleeveless pullover may be worn.

• Official school tie.
• Grey socks.
• Official school tie.
• Standard grey flannel school trousers – legs may not be tapered.

• Blazers must be worn.

Summer

• Sky-blue short-sleeved St Catherine’s school dress, worn not more than 5cm above the knee when standing up straight or bending forward.
• White short ankle socks folded over once.
• A sleeveless pullover may be worn over the dress.
• A long-sleeved jersey may only be worn under a blazer.

Winter

• Black pinafore or black long pants, with a long-sleeved plain white collared shirt and the official school tie.
• Knee-length black socks with white stripes or black stockings (not sheer).
• Blazers must be worn.
• A long-sleeved jersey may be worn under the blazer.
