Academic Support
The school has a qualified Educational Psychologist, Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist to assist pupils in need.
Pupils who achieve below 50% are required to stay after school for additional support in that subject.
Subjects
Languages:
- The medium of instruction is English Home Language.
- All pupils are required to choose between Afrikaans First Additional Language and isiZulu
Life Orientation:
This is a compulsory subject which incorporates Guidance, Physical Education and Religious Education
Mathematics
- Grade 8 and 9 pupils all take Mathematics.
- At the end of Grade 9 pupils must achieve a minimum of 50% to select Mathematics as a subject for Grade 10 – 12.
- Grade 9 – 11 pupils who achieve below 50% for Mathematics are required to take Mathematical Literacy the following year.
